Mezzanine floors

POLYPAL mezzanines are the perfect solution to expand the warehouse space or factory without the need to carry out construction. This type of storage system takes advantage of the height of the warehouse to increase the surface area and maximize the available volume.

This solution allows to enable new areas of storage and picking, offices or changing rooms in places that were not previously used.

The POLYPAL mezzanine can be supported on columns or pillars, and a shelving system can also be used to support the structure of the mezzanine.

Diaphanous mezzanine on columns

Mezzanines are the perfect storage system to expand space in the store or warehouse without the need for work.

POLYPAL mezzanines take advantage of the useful height of the premises, multiplying the available surface by the number of mezzanines in height that are available.

Its robustness allows to reach large loads, from 300 kg / m2 to 1500 kg / m2.

This storage solution is ideal to be installed in stores and warehouses where works that modify the structure of the property are not allowed or there are special conditions where welding or civil works are prohibited.

It allows the circulation on the mezzanine of handling elements such as electric pallet trucks or standard pallet trucks.

The POLYPAL mezzanine system is completely removable, thus allowing great flexibility of modification, expansion and/or transfer. Its installation is characterized by its agility and cleanliness. It can be used for storage, offices, changing rooms, etc.

The separation between columns can be 10 mm or more.

Mezzanine on shelves

This storage system builds a diaphanous mezzanine area on a lower shelving structure that is destined for classified storage.

The shelving models of a diaphanous upper mezzanine are:

• pallet racking


• half-load shelving or picking


• shelves for long loads like cantilever

The mezzanines made with POLYPAL shelves take advantage of the useful height of the warehouse, multiplying by two the available surface. It is the right solution when we can not carry out constructions that modify the structure of the store or warehouse.

Allows overloads of use from 200 Kgs / m2 up to 1,000 Kgs / m2

Like the diaphanous mezzanines on columns, the mezzanine built with POLYPAL shelves is completely removable, in this sense it allows great flexibility to make future changes (modification, expansion, transfer…). These types of facilities are characterized because they are easy to build.
