Step 1. A design suited to requirements

Step 2. Choosing the most appropriate storage system for your warehouse

And if the warehouse has storage space available at height, mezzanine floors can be installed to maximise the storage capacity.
Step 3. Ensuring an adequate installation
Storage system assembly is a crucial aspect for a safe and efficient operation. At POLYPAL we have professional teams in charge of the installation without interfering with the warehouse’s daily activity. We apply quality assurance systems based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard, covering both, racking and shelving installation and manufacture.
We audit the space where the racks and shelves will be installed to guarantee a correct execution and ensure compliance with the standards at all times.
Step 4. Complying with the standard
According to standards EN15635 and NTP852, periodic inspections are required to ensure optimum operation of the storage equipment. These revisions need to be carried out at least once a year by a qualified inspector. The purpose is to minimise accidents associated with racking in poor condition.
Our aftersales service comprises these Technical Inspections. An annual inspection plan of the kind we design at POLYPAL derives in:
Use of the racking in accordance with current specifications and nameplates.
A risk-based assessment of detected damage affecting frames, racking beams, shims, upright baseplates, protectors, accessories, etc.
An analysis of the overall condition of the warehouse and handling equipment: clean and tidy corridors, floor condition, state of the pallets, clearances and positioning between loads, load handling, use of the handling equipment, etc.
A preliminary assessment following the inspection and immediate notification of damaged elements constituting a serious risk.
